As you know we started using ABC after the recession hit in 2008 as a means not only to improve profit per unit but also to reduce operating costs. This initiative worked very successfully for us and allowed us to buck the trend during those tough trading years.

Your software and the sales process that runs with it allows us to focus on the overall profitability of every deal and to ensure that each revenue stream from chassis profit to accessories and from finance and insurance to paint protection was not only maximised but also secured in areas least subject to clawback.

Certainly our use of your system has organically changed over the years due to legislative changes and our cultural growth. Moreover on the back of a more buoyant economic backdrop we have also employed additional sales controllers to ensure that the sales management role is bolstered, especially given the added manufacturer pressures that can distract management on occasion.

There is no doubt that one of the cornerstone of every dealership has to be its DMS but without doubt ABC has added significantly to this by allowing us to consistently follow our process and transparently monitor our results in real time.

The end result is that our profitability has improved as has our stock profile and sales volumes. Whilst ABC did not provide a silver bullet to these perennial concerns, it did without a doubt have a major and positive impact upon them and the people responsible for them.

Moreover we have found your team to be helpful and agile in dealing with requests and bespoke changes to the system without getting stuck in the traditional corporate mud that so often exists in such software firms.
